Jalal-Abad State University named after B. Osmonov is a public multidisciplinary university established as a state higher education institution in 1993. It traces part of its institutional heritage to teacher-training courses founded in 1923 and prepares specialists in education, medicine, engineering, agriculture, economics, law, languages and the natural and social sciences.
