About SEU

International Black Sea University is a private university operating since 1995. It was the first English-language higher education institution in Georgia and currently provides Georgian and English-taught programmes at bachelor, master and doctoral levels.

IBSU provides technology-supported classrooms, computer laboratories, architecture and design spaces, medical education facilities, a university library, electronic scientific databases and dedicated research resources.

Vibrant Campus Life

The university has more than 20 student clubs and offers social, cultural, sporting, scientific, career-development and international exchange activities. University-accredited hostel accommodation with full board (including Asian food arrangements) is available from 285 USD per month (2026–2027 rates), plus a one-time 250 USD hostel deposit. From the 2nd semester onward, every student is automatically assessed for IBSU's merit-based scholarship, with up to 100% tuition reduction for the following semester.

IBSU is an authorized and accredited higher education institution in Georgia. Its English-language Medical Doctor programme has full NCEQE accreditation is listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and has received an ECFMG Sponsor Note.
